I’m on my own today
So today I’m on my own with my husband’s grandfather since the whole accident. That is until about 3pm, I’m kind of glad that the husband took the day shift until his grandfather gets better. Because I won’t have to worry about putting him to bed on my own. Which was something I was really worried about. All I have to do today is make sure he has his medicines and feed him lunch and most likely supper. I hope today goes really well.
Well I also have to get a bunch of laundry done, since my husband is now going back to work and will need work clothes. I want to get at least three loads of our laundry done before my husband gets home. Then another two loads after that. Hopefully grandfather doesn’t need to much today. I also hope he waits to go to the bathroom when my husband gets home, or I’m going to have to call some of the neighbors to come over and help him with that.
Also when my husband gets home, I’m going to tell him to get his grandfather in the wheelchair so we can give him soapy water to give himself a sponge bath from waist up. His home aid was supposed to do that yesterday but didn’t do it. Plus it was a woman and I don’t think his grandfather would have like that, though maybe he would have lol she was kind of cute and young. Well I better go, got to go down there to check on him in 15 minutes and get my first load in the washer for the day.
