It is always good to have a goal to work on and getting oneself healthy is a great one to work on. I do not know much about bi-polar but I do have a girlfriend who suffered from something similar. Eating right might help alleviate your simptoms, but I would also suggest you see a doctor. There are medications designed to help people who are bi-polar. Anyway good luck in the New Year!

stick with it you'll find your balance.

On a full-moon day in May, he sat under the Bodhi tree in deep meditation and said. "I will not leave this spot until I find an end to suffering." During the night, he was visited by Mara, the evil one, who tried to tempt him away from his virtuous path. First he sent his beautiful daughters to lure Gautama into pleasure. Next he sent bolts of lightning, wind and heavy rain. Last he sent his demonic armies with weapons and flaming rocks. One by one, Gautama met the armies and defeated them with his virtue.

As the struggle ended, he realized the cause of suffering and how to remove it. He had gained the most supreme wisdom and understood things as they truly are. He became the Buddha, 'The Awakened One'. From then on, he was called Shakyamuni Buddha.

There are actually 4 types of bipolar disorder: bipolar I, bipolar II, cyclothymia, and bipolar NOS. There has been a lot of controversy about whether or not antidepressants (more specifically, SSRI's) can induce bipolar disorder. They have yet to give a definitive answer, but there are many people who say they began having symptoms of bipolar disorder after taking those types of medications. It could also be that many people with bipolar disorder are initially misdiagnosed with depression and are then treated with antidepressants, only to find out later that they indeed have bipolar disorder. More studies are needed to decide which is the truth. I lean towards an initial misdiagnosis.

Thank you for sharing this information. I have a form that isn't mentioned- Bipolar I with psychotic features. I don't think enough people know about psychosis in bipolar disorder. Is there anything in the book about psychotic episodes? I have posted my own experiences with it on my blog.

I know what you mean about writing every day... Sometimes i put it off till late and then fell rushed to do it...

If you find yourself not sure what to write about think about starting a SILLY post of a Green post. That is a type of post already done that just need to be published.

Feel free to check out my cartoons and review it or write about the subject and make sure you write your mim. You might find it takes a little of the comment pressure off and add a little more fun stuff... Just link the cartoons back... :)
